Message to the MIYO Family

In the run up to holiday sale craziness, there's a few new things we want to share with the MIYO family, including a gift.

Value

Every decision we've made in the design and implementation of MIYO has been in the interest of delivering the best audio-quality possible, without compromise. We also believe in making our products as affordable as possible. This, for instance, is why we sell direct in the US.

So, you won't see a huge sale on MIYO this holiday season, if ever. Everyone who buys MIYO is getting the same deal, no matter when they buy it – at the lowest price possible. We think this is how modern businesses should be run, and that people see through 24-hour sales and cheap products. Our small company aims to provide real value, all the time.

Hi-Fi For All

We've been looking for a way to start a discussion amongst MIYO users about their experience – what music you're listening to and what you hear with MIYO. So, we talked to the good people at Tidal, and arranged an extended 90-day trial of the TIDAL Hi-Fi tier, exclusive to MIYO owners (60 extra days, $40 value).

Now, all MIYO users can share their musical discoveries with each other in lossless CD quality with TIDAL links. On Facebook, if you mention MIYO and include '@H2_Designs' in the text, then we can share it with the MIYO community. We look forward to hearing what you're hearing!

Lifetime Warranty

In reviewing our fairly boilerplate warranty policy (1 Year Limited), we realized that it didn't fit well with our business philosophy, or the confidence we have in our product. We're happy to announce we're changing our warranty effective immediately to a Lifetime Limited Warranty. This applies to all MIYO owners, current and future. Here it is in a nutshell:

  • If you require service from issues arising through normal use while the product is still in production, or within 6 months of the end of production, here’s what happens:
    • We give you a return authorization number and ship-to info, so we know exactly what to do with your product when it arrives.
    • You pay to ship the product to us.
    • Within 5 business days of the product arriving, we will fix or replace it if necessary, and ship the product back to you. We will pay shipping back to you.
  • If your product requires service arising from accidental or other unintentional damage outside of normal use, a service fee of no more than $100 will be assessed to return a like-new product to you.

If we are able to service or replace your MIYO, we will – no receipt or proof of purchase necessary, and the warranty is fully transferrable. And if your MIYO doesn't survive an accidental trip through the washing machine, we'll fix it at a reasonable cost.

15-Day Return Policy

We think you'll love MIYO, but ultimately we want you to be happy. If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it to us within 15 days of receipt of your order for a full refund (minus a 5% transaction fee). Orders returned with damage may be assessed an additional fee, and returns for refund are generally limited to one per person within one year’s time.

And if you're past the 15-day window, you can rest assured MIYO remains valuable with its fully transferrable lifetime warranty.
